Deep. Loud. And immersive, too. SoundLink Revolve+, the best-performing portable Bluetooth speaker from Bose, delivers true 360° sound for consistent, uniform coverage. Place it in the center of the room to give everyone the same experience. Or set it near a wall so sound radiates and reflects. This wireless speaker is durable, water-resistant and easy to grab and go - with a rechargeable battery that plays up to 16 hours.

Shocking sound. Quite literally.

INTRO:
The Bose SoundLink Revolve+ enters the market not only as Bose’s best bluetooth speaker ever, but also as the first true omnidirectional speaker of its product category. With beautifully powerful 360 degree sound, long lasting battery life, and a great looking design, the Bose SoundLink Revolve+ is an extremely well-rounded product that deserves the praise it has been getting.
SOUND QUALITY: Every time I listen to the Revolve+, it impresses me. The bass is solid, punchy, and deep, so it vibrates whatever surface it is placed on. Midrange is incredibly natural; vocals and orchestras sound vivid and lifelike. Treble isn’t perfect, but given the limitations of the cylindrical speaker design, it is still quite detailed and crisp.
The speaker sounds the best around 50-60% volume, where it has the most musical balance between bass, midrange, and upper frequencies. The Bose SoundLink Revolve+ is truly shocking loud. It can easily loudly fill small to medium sized rooms, and it is loud enough to almost fill an indoor basketball court with music, even with 30 or so people playing basketball. At maximum volume, the Revolve+ still performs impressively, but if you end up getting your hands one, I would suggest avoiding the last two notches of volume on your device, because they barely increase volume, and bass notes and treble become less defined. But that aside, the Revolve+ truly does sound incredible. I can’t even count how many people have complimented the speaker on how good it sounds.
Here’s a fun story: When I was staying home over spring break, I placed the Revolve+ in the corner of our living room, where my family’s theater speaker system is set up. I played some music, then asked my father how the speakers sounded and he shrugged, "Sounds great like it always does… why do you ask?". When I revealed to him that the powerfully deep bass notes and crystal clear vocals came from the small speaker in the corner and not the theater system, he was genuinely blown away… and he was the one who set up the theater sound system!
DESIGN:
The Revolve+ is beautifully designed. It looks industrial and artful, and fits nicely in any setting. The aluminum body is rock solid (but is soft in texture like felt), and the buttons are nice, too. The soft-touch rubber bumpers provide drop protection, and the water resistance is also very reassuring. Over the past month, I carried the Revolve+ with me everywhere: to classes, to the gym, to hikes, and the aluminum body has not a single scratch. The built-in handle and tripod mount are also both great inclusions. When using the Revolve+ for personal listening, I found that it sounds the best mounted on a tripod, because it eliminates reflections from being placed on a surface.
FUNCTIONALITY:
The speaker connects to devices very quickly, and bluetooth range is about average: around 50 feet with no obstacles, and the range decreases if the signal must travel through walls or doors. The ability to pair two devices simultaneously, and the ability to wake up the speaker remotely through the Bose Connect app are both great touches.
Battery life is impressive. At half volume, the Revolve+ played just over 24 hours, so the Revolve+ actually over-delivers on its advertised battery life. There was no way for me to test how long it would last at maximum volume, but I would estimate it could last around six hours. Unless you rarely need to blast the speaker near maximum volume, the battery will easily last long enough to stretch one or two weeks.
VS. THE COMPETITION:
Bose Revolve+ vs. UE Megaboom: The Revolve+ is marginally louder, has significantly deeper and stronger bass, and significantly more detailed midrange and treble… the Megaboom sounds quite muffled in comparison. The Revolve+ is slightly shorter than the Megaboom, but also slightly wider, so size is roughly comparable. The Megaboom has an edge over the Revolve+ in that it is waterproof, rather than just water resistant.
Bose Revolve+ vs. JBL Charge 3: Both have similar levels of bass and volume. In terms of midrange and treble, it mostly just comes down to personal taste, but I personally find the Revolve+ to sound more natural. The Bose is slightly smaller and more portable, but the JBL has stronger waterproofing.
I would like to reiterate - the Revolve+ is really the only true omnidirectional speaker in its class (UE Boom models have speaker drivers facing opposite directions, and JBL bluetooth speakers have fire bass to the sides in opposite directions, and midrange and treble forward). This in itself gives it a huge advantage over its competitors. If you are looking for a speaker that would be great for group events, the Revolve+ is unmatched by any competing speaker.
CONCLUSION:
In the last month or so of using the Bose SoundLink Revolve+, I have enjoyed using it to sing along to Ed Sheeran songs with my friends, party by blasting Kendrick Lamar’s new album, push myself through workouts in the gym and on the track, and sometimes just relax by myself. The Revolve+ is so good for so many purposes, I bring it with me everywhere. I hope my review was helpful to you!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What Are the differences between: Bose® - SoundLink® Revolve+ Bluetooth® speaker - Triple Black AND Bose® - SoundLink® Revolve Bluetooth® speaker - Triple Black Thank you!

The Revolve+ is the slightly-larger higher end model with 16 hours of battery life and louder, deeper sound, and the Revolve is the slightly smaller "lower end" (less-higher-end) model with 12 hours of battery life and slightly less loud sound. Both sound similar, both are water resistant. They are very similar speakers, but the Revolve+ is just a step better than the Revolve, in most aspects. Oh, and the Revolve+ has a handle for carrying.
