Brought this because it was required for my vehicle. Never worked right from the beginning. My radio would only come on 1 out of 4 times and I had to turn my car on and off a number of times to be able to use the unit. Finally had to have it rewired to bypass the unit. What a waste of money & time!
Rat Patrol is sixties TV: the plots aren't deep; the character are kind of one dimensional; and the premise is stretched pretty thin. Still it is fun to watch, whether for nostalgia or for the first time viewer. This is the way to buy the series, in the complete package rather than separately. It’s hard to remember a time when a season was 32 episodes long (so double that and you have a great amount of this show to watch)! Get caught in the action and forget the production goofs (the weapons are very fake/props).
What's great about it: The actors and the location shots
Switchfoot's new doesn't quite match their earlier efforts (Beautiful Letdown, Nothing is Sound) but it is still worth listening too. The sound is recongizable as Switchfoot and when they hit their groove it makes for great songs. However their old problems are also here (mixture of spoken word & chorus; heavy subject & cute wordplay). I now play this on shuffle because the middle couple of songs drag while tracks 8-12 are my favs.
What's great about it: Some good new songs
What's not so great: Feature artists bring nothing to the party
