Sadly we returned it. It has/had a loud high pitched ring, similar to an LED light bulb about to burn out. If you put it in "Energy Saving Mode" it would turn off the ring. When you open the door the ring would immediately shut off as well. I was ready to live with it in ESM but then condensation happened. Running down the walls and seals and everything inside had condensation on it. The pick up guy said he heard it and he hasn't heard one do that before. Can anyone tell me if theirs does this too or did we get a bad one and a new one would be fine?
Install this KitchenAid French door refrigerator and have a place for everything. The adjustable shelves are spill resistant, and the FreshSeal crisper drawers and dairy bin provide a humidity-controlled system to keep items fresher longer. This KitchenAid French door refrigerator includes a three-tier freezer drawer for convenient storage of ice cream treats and meats.
This has a nice layout, as I can get a lot into it. The stay fresh features really do help keep your refrigerator odor free and make your food stay fresh longer, BUT it makes a loud, high- pitched whining noise ALL THE TIME. The ice maker keeps very little ice. The left door makes a loud slamming noise unless you make a conscientious effort to close it very slowly.

Ours had the same noise, we returned it. We then went to the store and turned the display model on (took it out of showroom mode) and BAM it RINGS too :( Other Kitchenaid models did not do this. Bummer its such a nice looking refrigerator.
