Poor Sound Quality

I bought these after deciding between these or Beats (I've gone through 3 pairs). After all the hype about the functionality I figured I'd give it a fair shot.

I go to the gym 5-6x a week, so I need to have headphones that'll help cancel out noise, fit snug on my head and be easy to use (especially with the headphone buttons).

The smart buttons: horrible. I tried using the smart movements and it took me 10 times to get it to work (swiping up and down for volume, to the right for the next track). The hot buttons are pretty useless, especially they don't work when you try to use them.

Packaging: way too fancy - when I took the headphones out the case the ear pad was already smushed in and dented. The directions are written poorly and are of poor quality.

Sound quality: it's comparable to an old pair of Altec Lansing plug as play speakers on your old desktop computer. The bass is distorted, the highs break up and it doesn't even get loud enough!

Comfort: these headphones feel heavy and probably wouldn't be ideal for running, it feels as if it would fall right off.

I'm returning these tomorrow as soon as the store opens and getting a pair of Beats again.
