Relive memories with this Aluratek digital photo frame. It is simple to set up and comes with a remote control for easy operation. Its true-color LCD screen displays images at high resolution, bringing your photos to life. This 14-inch Aluratek digital photo frame also plays video and music, letting you remember cherished moments.

Do not buy!!!!

I recently purchased this frame as a birthday gift. The manual is less than adequate and lacks clarity of the basic functions. Knowing what I now know I would have purchased another make. My observations are:
a) With nothing installed into the INTERNAL memory, Photos can be viewed from a SD card with relatively no problem. From a jump drive (USB 2.0) there is hesitation and video glitches present during viewing. If viewing from the jump drive, the photos will freeze with regularity and often blank the display.
b) If photos are separated into Folders before copying to the device, either on SD card, USB or PC they cannot be viewed as individual folders, the frame will Lump them all together in one File. i.e. if we have 2 or more folder, “Our Cruise” (50 jpg) and “Kids Birthday” (75 jpg) the frame will cause each folders contents to be one big file (125 jpg) . If only “Kids Birthday” is wanted for viewing it cannot be done as you will be forced to view “Our Cruise” at the same time.
c) I cannot get the auto timer to switch the frame on at the time that I have set. It will switch itself off at my selected time. The remote will not cause the frame to come on, I have to press and hold the Power Button on the frame.
d) The display will not start at “Slideshow” when switched on, I have preset “Slideshow” in Photo set up but it starts up in “step show”.
e) The data sheet on Best Buy shows Motion sensor, there is no such sensor.
The LCD display is good for the price but be prepared to struggle through the operational steps. Overall Aluratek have done a very poor job with the manual. Customer service is no existent. My email to support went unanswered and after 15 minutes on hold my call back has not been done. Poor product and terrible support. Never again Aluratek.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
