Dead Pixels Galore

I excitedly purchased three of these as part of my shopping for Christmas. I had been restoring slides that were seemingly long lost to the family, and digitally converted them into .jpg files. These frames were going to be the perfect way to display all of my hard work, and to take my family on a cruise upon the Nostalgia Ocean.
However, while I was setting up a frame on Christmas Eve, I found that it had a dead pixel. Concerning, but that's alright... I have two more that I can try. I'll just take the defective one back to the store.
I set up another frame, the second out of three I had purchased. This frame had a dead pixel too. Needless to say, I didn't even bother testing the third one. I have no experience with digital frames, but I wouldn't think that dead pixels are all that common.
This could be partially my fault for purchasing from a brand I'm not familiar with, but I can surely say that I won't be made a fool of again by Aluratek. What a disappointment!
I hope this helps save someone the hassle of dealing with a bad product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
