Meet the Nest Cam Outdoor security camera (2 pack). It stands watch 24/7, rain or shine. Plugs into power so you never have to worry about dead batteries. And sends an alert to your phone when it detects activity. It even lets you talk back through the Nest app. This is what an outdoor security camera should be.

Nice, but not for me

Camera is made well. Very "Apple-like". Interface is ok. Picture during the day is ok. But for me a few deal stoppers. 1- Wireless requires not just a signal, but a really good signal for 1080p. I can get a mid bar strength at my outdoor locations, but Nest says its a weak signal and the cameras keep dropping offline. 2- bandwidth of having more than two cameras on the same wireless access point. I set up a different wireless network just for my security cams. I have ATT Gig service, so its not the pipe, but I rarely get the full 30fps. 3- Admin interface for a Paid Service should have more options for an Advanced User. Fine to have a basic interface for basic needs, but I would prefer a text overlay, and some other typical security settings as in FPS etc if I am going to pay $200-250 per year on 3-4 cameras. 4- Night picture I always found very "muddy". And in the day, the leaves on a tree or bush seem to mush in a blob. I have used other security cams in the past with Blue Iris or Security Spy software and have not had as much of an image quality issue.
Short of it is, my 4x cameras are going back. I will look at POE wired solutions. Wireless, and the limited interface settings on a paid service, are a deal killer for me. Others it may work great, but not for me.

Nice laptop

Screen is nice for a 1920. Colors are good. It is a matte finish but does not seem to dull colors too much. Light up keyboard is cool, once you find the right switch to turn it on. Very speedy feeling. SSD makes booting and program launching fast. Decent amount of RAM. Only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is the housing is a little plasticky feeling. Not cheap but not high end either. Large 17in screen makes it a big boy to haul around, but it is thinner than I expected. Not much bloat ware at all. Overall happy since I caught it on sale. Nice laptop.

Had a 6 year old iMac I was looking to replace. Apple has just taken so long to really update the line, I know its coming in 2017 but I got tired of waiting. I decided to look at Windows all in ones. Being a long time Mac guy, the exterior design is at least somewhat important. And since this was to be a family PC in view of the kitchen/den/etc we did not want the typical tower/monitor setup with wires. Came across this model on the HP website. Decided to give it a try. Ordered on BestBuy.com and picked it up in the store about 90min later. Nice to not have to wait in line. Walk in, sign some paperwork, walk out. Nice. Even though the screen is the same 27in size of my older iMac, it looks smaller due to the surrounding bezel being so thin. Overall the computer looks great in person ! Looks like just a monitor on our kitchen desk. Keyboard is a small but well made rechargeable model. Keys feel ok. The mouse is so so. Too light weight and has a funny feeling ridge on the left side. At least for me. Works fine, just seems not as well made as the computer or keyboard. The computer overall feels very well made. The monitor is very nice. Colors and contrast are great. I have a large collection of digital family photos I need to organize, it will be enjoyable on this monitor. Same resolution as my iMac, 2560x1440. The iMac Retina is a little "sharper" screen, but equipped with similar specs, its about a $1000 more money, and still not touch screen. Speed with the SSD as a boot is very quick. My 11 yo son will enjoy basic computer games with the 4gb of discrete video ram. Overall very happy with the computer as a family computer. Its not a gaming desktop with maximum frame rates, nor does it claim to be. For web surfing, MS Office type work, most Photoshop work, other average home task, school work online, and some fun games every now and then, It looks and performs excellently !! I won't lie, I wish I had a comparable Apple option in a similar price range. But to get an AIO with a great design, great screen, great performance, and a decent chunk of change back in my pocket, this one is hard to beat. Get an aftermarket mouse and this one will do a family proud for many years.

Still going strong

Computer is zippy. But it has an SSD for an OS and Programs to boot so it should be zippy. I find the screen as good or better than my nonRetina iMac, after I turned off Windows Auto Adjust on the brightness. Overall very happy. Still miss some things from the MAC OS vs Windows, but it's not a deal killer at all. Would still buy it again, especially when at the sale price !
