Very decent little speaker. I tried 2 others from Walmart, an 808 Canz and a Blackweb Highwire that didn't make the grade. Then I bought the Jam Plus from Best Buy and thought I had what I wanted until this little gem appeared on sale for $12.99. Bought it for my daughter but think I will be getting another for myself and returning the Jam. It doesn't talk to you every time it turns on or off. The Jam does and I think it's annoying, but that's a personal preference. Also, it doesn't say so but you can connect a non-bluetooth unit to it via a cord and it works great. I did it. Oh, it's 4 oz. heavier, if that makes a difference to you.

This is an update by 5somewhere. I meant to mention that this unit has slightly more base than the Jam. The biggest reason I opted for it.
