Overview
This is Linkin Park’s second LP album. It produced singles such as Numb, that is the most played Linkin Park song on the radio. Numb is not the only good song on here, the whole album is one awesome song after the next. A must have for any Linkin Park fan.

Forward: The sound of glass being broken
Don’t Stay: This song grabs your attention from the very beginning with the sound of broken glass, followed by the remarkable guitar intro. This is one of my favorite songs on the CD. The lyrics cut through to you and say the words that you want to say when in a situation where you just had enough. The instrumentals in this song are very catchy and makes you want to get up and rock with it. Chester mainly does the vocals, while Mike chimes in every now and again. This song is epic.
Somewhere I Belong
This song has a very special meaning for me. The lyrics got to me emotionally during a time I really needed to reflect on what a bad relationship was doing to me. It set me on a path of self-discovery. I will always hold this song close to my heart. I love all of the instrumentals in this song. It really brings it out. Mike does vocals mainly for the verses and Chester does the chorus and bridge. Chester chimes in on the verses, while Mike on the chorus. This song rocks.

I got so engrossed with this song I had to listen to it again for the review. This is another favorite of mine. The lyrics draw you in along with the instrumentals. One of the true staples to Meteora.

I have always loved the instrumental beginning in this song. It is number two of my all time favorite Linkin Park songs. Mike starts off the vocals and does the verses. Chester does the chorus and bridge "I WON'T BE IGNORED!!!!!! I remembered thinking, yes, exactly. This is another song that the lyrics caught my attention to.

I loved the beat of this song right from the start. I could listen to Chester sing like this all day. He has such an awesome and versatile voice. You can just feel the emotion he puts in this song. Chester sings the whole song. It starts epic and it ends epic. One of the great staples of Meteora.

Overall: This album is awesome. I like every song on the album. Each has it's unique sound from instrumentals and vocals. You can not put a label on Linkin Park. They are who they are, a little bit of everything.

This is the second song I discovered from Linkin Park, only I didn't know it was them until a month after I listened to it. I got this song in my head every day until I finally found out who did it and what the title was.
The song gets your attention from the very beginning with electro sound, leading into a heavy guitar sound. The versus vocals were mainly done by Mike, with Chester harmonizing. Both of them sing the chorus. The lyrics speaks about the inner voice we have in all us. This is my favorite song on the album.

One Step Closer
"SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!!!!!" Who didn't love that line in this song. This is a great song if you want to get some frustration out. Right from the beginning it makes your adrenaline pump with the heavy guitar and drums. You already know this song is going to be hardcore. Chester does the vocals in the verses and him and Mike both do in the chorus. What a scream.

The heavy instrumentals instantly makes you want to rock hard with the band. Chester takes off from that and continues to wow us throughout the song, with Mike coming in ever so often. This song is in my top ten list for favorite Linkin Park songs.

Sometimes it was hard for me to listen to it because I listen to music on a very emotional level to begin with, throw that into the mix and here comes the tears. I've gotten use to it since then and now I love the song. The instrumentals are absolutely amazing. Chester mainly does the vocals in this awesome song. Mike has about four lines in it, but is still awesome. I don't know anyone who doesn't like Crawling.

I can't seem to sit still when this song is playing. Chester mainly does the vocals in this song, while Mike does a few lines in it. All around awesome song.

This got me crying a few times because of it's lyrics. This is not a bad thing, just made me face myself during a time I really needed to reflect and take a closer look of my surroundings and what it was doing to me. All the instrumentals are sweet in this song. Chester mainly does the vocals, while Mike does a couple lines within the verses. This song sounds good both hardcore and when done softly.
