I never write reviews - but don't buy this TV

This TV is absolute horrible. So is the service. The TV looks nice (although the base doesn't swivel like our other Samsung which is actually a good TV), but the software just doesn't work. Our specific issues:
1. The smarthub does not load quickly. Compared to an Apple TV or Roku, it takes almost 10 minutes to boot up.
2. The volume on smarthub apps cuts out randomly. Watch TV for 15 minutes, and then suddenly the volume doesn't work. The picture streaming is fine. Samsung support tried to blame it on my internet provider, but everything else in our home works fine. Then they tried to blame it on the apps, but it was doing the same thing on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, and the Time Warner Cable App.
3. When you are in the store or online, the Smarthub has a pretty background image. When you bring it home, you are stuck with the scrambling image that you get when your antenna isn't working in 1992. They do not show it that way in the store or online for a reason.
Samsung support has been terrible. Their solution to every problem is to reboot or update software that's already up to date. They refuse to acknowledge any hardware issues. I wasted 2 hours with support and I only had the TV for 3 days.
I really would rather not have to repackage this TV but it's horrendous. Do not buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
