These are still being sold as being compatible with ISP-broadband through Century Link. About month ago my ISP stop working, and bought another modem thinking modem went bad.
This modem is no longer compatible Century Link broadband.

My ISP (CenturyLink) is telling me that this modem will not support or run with 25mbps DSL and I will have to use their modem, is this true?
ISP tells me that the Netgear ADSL+2 will not work with 25 Mbps internet and I will have to use their modem/router combo. Is this true or will I be able to utilize my Netgear?

does it work on centurylink DSL? would like to replace theirs,
