I think the 75" Sony 850d is a great TV. I looked at LG, Samsung and Visio also for about a month before buying the Sony. I think the picture is great. The reviewers that say there is light bleeding must have a defective TV because mine has none! The blacks ARE black also, not greenish. BestBuy delivered the TV but my wife and I assembled the stand (which was easy, took about 10 minutes). I think where people are damaging the TV is when they insert the TV into the stand. Sony warns you not to press on the edges of the screen and that can cause light bleed damage unless you are careful to only press against the back of the TV when setting up like we did. Let me say a 75" TV is Heavy and Awkward! Unless two people commit to putting the TV in the stand carefully you can damage it! Pay BestBuy the $50 if you think it might be too heavy for you. After it is in the stand setup is easy by just turning it on and following the instructions. One of the reasons I bought this TV is the small base the stand has compared to the other brands. You might notice that the bases on the other brands are almost the whole width of the TV. Not a factor if you are wall mounting though. I am currently watching a lot of 4K programming on DirecTV. They have the Olympics in 4K and a lot of older IMAX videos in 4K. Plus they have more regular current hit movies in 4K also. I also use a Roku 3 on this TV and it looks great also. My wife and I are very happy with the Sony and the huge 4K picture is awesome. If you have a soundbar like I do that is about 3 inches high you will need a riser that lifts it up that much or the soundbar will block the bottom of the screen. They sell what's called a Sony riser on Amazon and other places for around $40, it will support the TV and lift it up just right to see the full picture.
