very disappointed

Was extremely excited for these headphones considering the purported battery life and the decent sized drivers. However my expectations are extremely unmet. The silicone ear tips are slippery and constantly pop out. The buds are larger than I expected, including the piece that holds the silicone buds, so the fit is difficult to get used to. The sound quality is average, I would say about on par with powerbeats 3, just ok. Worst of all is the Bluetooth connectivity. The pair process is tedious at best. Once you finally pair them you are met with terrible connection quality. The earbuds constantly disconnect. Very frustrating. Definitely returning these.

Pump up the volume during your next workout with these Samsung IconX in-ear headphones. The lack of cables enhances mobility, and wing-tipped ear gels hold each piece in place as you run, bike or hit the gym equipment. Pair these Samsung IconX in-ear headphones with portable music devices or store tunes via the on-board memory.

Much Better than Expected

I bought these with mixed expectations after watch dozens of reviews. However now that I have had time to play with them, i am pleased to say that they have exceeded my expectations. First of all, set up is fast. Connecting to the phone, downloading music to the headphones and playing music is a fluid process. The audio quality is quite qood. In comparison to the headphones that come in box with the Samsung phones, the IconX's have about 80% the loudness, and 90 percent the bass. I think this is perfectly acceptable. On another note, these are extremely Light weight and comfortable, and fit well in the ears. The touch controls are accurate and easy to learn. Noise cancelling has worked well so far. And sound pass through is a neat feature when playing music at low volumes, it feels as though you have robotic hearing. When the music is off the sound pass through works extremely well, and act like a hearing aid. This is a nice feature to have when out running or biking. It lets you enjoy your music while having the Security of hearing your surroundings. The convenience of still having activity tracking and 4gb of music any where you go, even without your phone, is a praise worthy addition from Samsung. The battery life is just as samsung claims. On a good day i get about 2 hours of music on bt, and about 5 hours of music played frim the head phones. What is nice is the transition from phone to on board storage is quick, so optimizing the battery is easy. In addition the IconX's carrying case offers up to 4 extra charges, allowing you to use these throughout your day. Oh, and "ok google" works with these.
I hope this helps some of you with your decision. I like them a lot.

Very Disappointed
By bts1225
I have been looking so forward to these and was so glad to see them available for purchase. I brought them home, paired them up and only to find that they constantly lose connection with each other. The connection to the phone seems fine but the constant disconnect one side from the other is terrible. I can only hope that maybe I had a bad one however I have returned it. Hope you have better luck than I did.

Same boat as you bud. Was very excited for these, and am very disappointed so far. Sound quality is sub par. Bud tips are extremely slick and every pair they include pops out of my ears. Connectivity has been simply aweful. I cant believe how bad these are.

How long does the battery last?

About 2 hrs. on bluetooth. Or about 5 hrs. on onboard memory. If you use both itll net about 3 hours. Carrying case charges headphones about 4 times. So all day use really.

Is there any lights when in use or can they be worn discreetly at work

No lights on the headphones themselves. There are three on the case for charging. They are very discrete. Like a micro bluetooth headset.
