I bought this washer 1/18/16 when our old washer stopped working. I was really optimistic about it at first. I liked how it would sense the level of laundry in the washer and adjust the water level accordingly. I think in theory it's probably a really efficient washer. The problem is it just randomly stops working mid-cycle and won't do anything. Some loads go through fine, some it just hangs up and doesn't do anything. When this happens all we can do is unplug the washer for 1/2 hour or so, then plug it back it, run the spin and rinse cycle, and then start over. I tried scheduling a repair on the Maytag website and am not able to, just get a message that it can't be completed at this time. I'm really bummed out that I spent so much money on a washer and the only way I can get a load of laundry done is to go to the laundry mat. If you want a washer that doesn't use a lot of water, well, this is for you because it just doesn't work. If you want a washer that actually does its job, look elsewhere.
