I'm a fan of Jaybird Sport products (after converting from Bose and a handful of other brands), and have had the original BlueBudXs, the X2s, and now the Freedoms. These newest earbuds, though? WOW.
They are smaller than the X2s, which I really love. I have very small ears and though the BlueBuds/X2s fit perfectly and stayed in place every time (which is why I bought them to begin with), these fit me better aesthetically.
The voice prompts when turning on and off are a neat feature (it tells me the percentage of battery, so no more guessing!), and I am really enjoying the MySound app-- I like a lot of bass in my music while working out, so I have it cranked up now.
The coolest new feature, though, is probably the charging clip. It's a tiny little piece (about the size of a pen cap) that clips onto the control portion of the earbuds. You have to have it attached in order to charge the earbuds, which is something I need to remember as the X2s didn't have this feature, but you can also use it for an extra 4 hours of play time if you let the battery get too low. I keep it in my Jaybird case-- haven't had to use it yet, but it's great to know that it's there if I need it.
The battery seems comparable to, if not a little better that, the X2s, as I'm averaging 3 full workouts before getting a low battery notification. No complaints there.
Overall, I'd say the Freedoms are well-worth the money, and I am really enjoying them. Oh, and the white/gold color is gorgeous!
I would recommend this to a friend!

With no wires in the way, Bose SoundSport Wireless Sports Earbuds keep you moving with powerful audio. Perfect for exercise and running with a sweat and weather resistant design and StayHear+ tips designed for comfort and stability. The Tile app makes your headphones easy to find if they ever go missing.

Is there any way to use these in a non-wireless configuration? (for example, if there's no bluetooth or the battery runs out)

Unfortunately, no, but the charging clip gives you an extra 4 hours of play time, so it makes it less likely to run out of battery.

Can anyone tell me, minus any individual that may have received them free for a review, if they fit snug - ESPECIALLY WHEN WORKING OUT? Can anyone compare them for me regarding sound to the Jaybird X2? Is outside noise an issue?

I do HIIT sprints and box jumps with mine, without any issue (never had issues with my X2s, either). The control button area is a little heavier than it was with the X2s, so I did have to adjust the wires to fit more snugly behind my head. That way, it doesn't bounce around and move out of my ears at all. Otherwise, the fit is the same as it was with the X2s, just more streamlined in size.

I don't think outside noise is an issue at all. They aren't noise-cancelling, per se, but I am completely able to get lost in my world with them in. The MySound app allowed me to increase the bass and adjust the other sound settings, so they are more in line with how I like to hear my music. If anything, they might be a little better than X2s at blocking ambient noise.
