Control your life with the Amazon Echo. It started with a music player that could play anything from Prime Music to Spotify and Pandora, and it gives you hands-free convenience, yet it can now control lights, switches and thermostat and answer questions thanks to advanced voice recognition. Use the Amazon Echo to order an Uber or even pizza from Domino's.

Use it as an alarm clock and for music at night

Has a great alarm clock functionality -- know that sounds silly but it's awesome to be able to set your alarm with your voice. And you can play music before bedtime and put on a sleep timer, which is awesome.
The news roundups in the morning are also nice for while you get ready.
Interested to see where it goes!

Love Sonos!

I've had two Sonos Play 1s for about two years now -- and they've absolutely changed how I listen to music. I have one in my living room, another in my kitchen. The app has really gotten better in how it lets you use Spotify -- and I love putting music on throughout the house while cleaning, cooking, etc. Quality built product, nice design, works really well.

Not worth it -- too many kinks to still iron out

I pre-ordered Luma back in May. It's helped extend Internet to a back bedroom but the network is incredibly unstable. Overall, my internet has gotten worse. They may eventually get there but stay away for now.
