But its far from it. I have had this installed now for a few weeks and feel I can review it fully. The fit and finish (quality of construction) is good but the functionality is terrible. The functionality issues I have already spoken to Kenwood customer support about and they just said that's how it is. IHeart radio function does not work, front and rear usb can not handle music organized into folders or it will take over 5 minutes to load and it reloads every time you change sources or receive a phone call. (I only had 5 gigs of music in folders by artist so that the search feature could sort by artist and it took over 5 minutes each time I went from FM to usb). The USB search feature organizes the music by some system I cant figure out and support could not explain. It is not alphabetical that's for sure and not alpha numeric either. Search only displays about 8 letters and does not omit the file extension so hitting search you only see PEA-.MP3 for Pearl Jam for instance. for these reasons the search feature is basically rendered useless. Lastly the Unit has 3 pre-outs front, rear, sub but the x-over has gains for tweeter, front, rear, and sub but nothing in the documentation states what wires to connect to the tweeters and once again Kenwood customer support was useless and told me that its a new unit and they only know what the documentation says.
