Gen 1 was awful. Gen 2 didn't produce the proper greens and blues which drove me to buy 26 LIFX bulbs. The LIFX are for sale and I'm proud to say this Gen 3 bulb with richer colors are great. Accurate Green color and can do other blues color such as Cyan or Aqua which the previous Gen's did not. Make sure if you buy these it has the little richer colors badge in the upper right hand corner! The biggest reason for the switch back to Hue is because of HomeKit support along with Works with Nest! They are still 800 Lumens though.
LIFX Multicolor A19 Smart LED Light Bulb: Creatively customize the lighting in your home with this smart bulb, which offers Wi-Fi connectivity for simple setup and an energy-efficient LED design. Adjust the color temperature, theme, lumen output or timer remotely via the downloadable LIFX app on your mobile device.
The intelligent, easy-to-use AirPort Extreme Base Station with simultaneous dual-band support is the perfect wireless access point for home, school or office. It offers next-generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology and delivers high-performance wireless access for Mac computers, PCs and Wi-Fi devices such as iPhone®, iPad®, iPod® touch and Apple TV.

More ports. They both get great range but the OnHub is not for me. If you have a lot of smart home devices that have a hub like I do then you will run into problems. Both are easy to setup but to be honest the OnHub's app is amazing to work with. It also can hold over 100+ devices. The AirPort Extreme cannot. I think it's 50 something. But I need the ports. OnHub works with IFTTT while the extreme doesn't. So I'm knocking it but if you need more than the 1 LAN port the OnHub isn't your best option. OnHub is prettier but the Extreme is better quality. If you're in the Apple ecosystem then you already know what your buying. I would say the next OnHub will be better but for now I'm keeping my Extreme. Not a Fanboy btw. Hope this helps you a little.
