Denon delivers again.

Let's start with the only bad point, Pandora is having known issues and not working properly. Should be fixed soon. That's it, the only bad point and only reason it does not get 5 stars. Sound is what you expect from Denon, top notch. Have it set in 5.2.2 and the Atmos slays. Can't wait for the DTS-X firmware update.

video pass through

is video pass through the same as video up conversion?
No they are 2 different things.

Up conversion means the device can take a lower quality signal and bring it to a higher quality. Here is an example Device A sends out a 1080p signal and Device B upconverts it to 4k(UHD) and sends it to Device C.

Pass through is when Device A's signal can move through Device B and remain the same quality. An example is Device A sends out a 4k signal, Device B has 4k pass through so the 4k Signal is able to move through Device B and to Device C.
