After reading the glowing reviews I decided to save some money & buy this knockoff brand. When put into the charger it blinks very rapidly & after 1 hour I tried it in the camera. The camera didn' turn on. I will return the battery & buy a genuine cannon battery. I don' t have the time to keep trying this brand until I get a good one or take a chance of destroying my camera.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
