Nothing else compares in the sub $100 category

I've test driven quite a few pair of wireless Bluetooth earbuds before deciding at this price point (sub $100) nothing else comes close to these.
Both the JayBird X2 and Dre Beats were nice & had their individual pros/cons but both were also more than twice the cost of these when on sale at $89.99. Big win for me as I'm always looking for a bargain without sacrificing on performance. What ultimately sold me on these were the ambient gel tips which makes these great for outdoor workouts where the others were too dangerous to wear with complete isolation.
The most important things for me in wireless buds are, battery life, fit/comfort & sound. I'll rate each of these categories below.
Battery life- from a full charge to completely dead I've gotten an average of 4.5 - 5 hours, s little short of the claimed 6 hours however anything more than 4 on a consistent basis is ok for me
Fit/Comfort - I initially thought that I wouldn't like the "TripleLock Tech" however it actually locks the buds in place pretty good without much discomfort. I say without much bec after 4+ hours the upper part of my right ear did start to feel uncomfortable from the tab, only my right though. I'd like to see different sizes on future models for those of us with smaller, or in my case one smaller ear, lol. The cord fits equally comfortable hanging in front of my neck and behind
Sound - Here's the thing if you like bass heavy then you'll love these as is the case with most SkullCandy products however if you're a pure music lover you may find these a little bass heavy. JayBird X2 had a much better sound quality although for a workout I much rather prefer the bass & ability to crank them up much louder than the X2's. Plus these were 1/2 the cost
Sound Part II and honestly one of the best features that sold me on these. The provide both Ambient Gels & StickyGels the biggest problem besides cost with other "higher quality" buds were they were limited to indoor use only due to the great sound isolation. I run a lot outdoors and although I love the ability to crank my music up while indoors it's extremely unsafe to do so while out on the roads & trails. SkullCandy provides the Ambient gel tips OMG how awesome are they, yes you lose all of the bass & isolation but it makes these wearable outdoors. Hey I guess if $ weren't an issue I could have a pair for indoor & a pair for outdoor but thats not the case with me, I need a pair of buds to do it all & these are more than capable.
