Smart, action, subtle comedy, and lots of suspense

This FX program is the first TV program that has been able to suck me in for one hour once a week for an entire season. TV hasn't been very good since the days of Cheers, Family Ties, Night Court, and Coach. The Americans feels more like a movie than a TV series. It is so well done. The story is so well written. I enjoy the suspense of the Jennings (Russian spies) and their next door neighbor friends (husband is a FBI agent).
The Jennings are barely a step ahead of the FBI. The struggle and strain that is put on the Jennings marriage because of the cat and mouse game they are playing with the US government adds a little more to the plot.
It's a root for the bad guys type show.

What's great about it: The story line of each episode are well written. It feels more like a movie than a TV show.
What's not so great: Richard Thomas (John Boy of The Waltons) as head of the FBI is horrible. His acting is not great in The Americans.

Whether your a fan of Volbeat or not, this is a must have, if your a hard rock fan. The album was inspired by Clint Eastwood spaghetti western's and American western classics. The lyrics flow with the hard electric riffs and the acoustic riffs as well. The Johnny Cash like vocals are awesome!

If you are a fan of Otherwise this is a very similar band. The vocals and lyrics match the guitar riffs beautifully. Great band that just needs to get noticed by the right people. Heard the song Bitter End on Octane and made it my mission to find this album. The lyrics to Borderline have been experienced by many people who have had friendships/relationships end very badly. Silent Gun is another favorite of mine. Buy the album and you be the judge.
What's great about it: The emotion of the lyrics is felt through out the vocals
What's not so great: Wished there were more songs on the album.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hollow by far is the best song on the album. If your a fan of Jar Of Flies you will like Voices, Scalpel, and Choke. Lab Monkey and Breath On A Window are two of my favorite songs on the album. Lab Monkey sounds a lot like the Dirt album. Breath On A Window sounds a lot like something off of Black Gives Way To Blue. One song that stands out is Phantom Limb. It starts with a twist. It has a heavy late 80's/early 90's metal sound then your reminded that it is still Alice In Chains once the vocals start.

What's great about it: Many songs go back to the bands old sound.
What's not so great: A few songs lack a catchy chorus
