This product is a lemon....had to return two
on February 16, 2016

First, the design makes no sense because you can't see how much water is in it. But both units I had (returned the first) had the same problem. It would run for 15 minutes or so, then turn itself off because it was "out of water" but it was really still full. And when it thinks it's out of water, guess what, it beeps. How's that for interrupting your sleep? So, I turn it off, turn it on and again, about 15 minutes later it beeps saying it was out of water (NOT....).
I returned it and was given a new one. Guess what, same problem. So thumbs down for bad design, beeping when out of water and bad electronics.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
