Good Phone - CAN'T UPDATE SOFTWARE IN MY CASE...
on January 30, 2016

Let me say this upfront. The phone itself is REALLY GOOD. The camera is pretty good under low light and great under normal conditions. I love how LG kept expandable storage and a removable battery in its flagship phone. The phone's build quality is good and it worked fine for the most part.
THE BIG CAVEAT comes with my situation, though. I am an AT&T customer and I bought the phone with the understanding from looking at research and from Best Buy Staff that the phone was factory unlocked and I wouldn't have any problems getting Android software updates on this phone. After hearing Marshmallow was coming out for the LG G4 on U.S. Cellular phones, I asked Best Buy, U.S. Cellular and AT&T to see how it would work in my case (AT&T SIM card in a U.S. Cellular phone). Turns out LG said that going through LG Bridge or the LG Mobile Support Tool wouldn't get me any updates. They said that I'd have to purchase 1 month's use of a U.S. Cellular SIM Card each time I want to get the latest Android software updates. I don't want to go through with that.
Again, great phone from LG, but do your research before you think about this variant of the phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
