If you are looking for a easy to clean gas range, this is not the one. The burner grates say dishwasher safe. Only no one tells you they won't fit in the dishwasher. They won't even fit in the kitchen sink. I am too old to be washing these in the bath tub. The grates are also very heavy.I have not used the self clean oven feature yet. No matter what I do to clean this range, it looks dirty If it wouldn't be so much trouble to return a gas range, I would do so and definitely buy one with lighter weight grates.
