This is my first ever streaming device, and although I am familiar with the Roku brand from friends, I have never owned one. One thing I love is the ability to search across multiple channels for media, and just the array of channels is fantastic. Plus, it has screen mirroring compatibility with some Android and Microsoft PCs. The processing speed is rapid, and I love how it connects to your mobile device with the app, which gives you the option of using your headphones. Lastly, I appreciate the shortcut buttons on the controller. I know they've been on previous models, too.

This 32" Sharp Television was (and still) is a great value for the money. My family and I have owned another Sharp brand 42" TV for almost 10 years, so we feel the brand is quality and that we trust it to deliver. This item did not disappoint! The picture quality is smooth at 1080p, 60Hz, with a myriad of options to adjust the settings on the control. Also, a great factor is that the unit is very agreeable weight-wise; I was able to lift it with ease. Best Buy did a phenomenal job with the expected delivery time, and the item was scheduled to be shipped almost as soon as it was processed (and this was right around the holidays, too). I feel comfortable knowing we have made a solid choice when purchasing this television over other comparable models. If you are looking at a 32" LCD television, this Sharp from Best Buy would be a real good way to go.

If I was to purchase this, where do I go to find out what channels I can get for free?
Once you've powered up the device and connected to Wi-Fi, these will be located on the Roku Channel Store (the Streaming Channels category in the side bar). Under the Top Free category, some of them are: QVC, PBS, Crackle, YouTube, CBS News, to name a few. A great feature of this new Roku model is the ability to search for any movie or television show across multiple platforms such as FandangoNOW, Vudu, Hulu, Netflix, Googleplay. Hope this helps.

What is the purpose of roku stick? How/what is it connected too?
The purpose of the Roku stick is to stream media from different channels or apps (some free, some that require payment) to your television. When unboxed, the device comes with a USB power cord. This cord will plug into the stick on one end, and then you plug it into a power outlet. The streaming stick itself plugs right into the HDMI port on an HD tv (located either on the side or behind it). Set up is fairly straightforward, and it will ask you to create a Roku account (it's free) and then connect to your Wi-Fi. You may then search for downloadable channels: YouTube, Crackle, Netflix, Hulu, etc. If you have an Android or compatible Microsoft PC, it is capable of mirroring that as well.
