The ClearStream 4V HDTV Antenna uses patented technology to receive TV signals 70 miles away from broadcast towers. Ideal for suburban and rural areas where heavy foliage or roofing materials reduce the incoming signal. The dedicated UHF and VHF multi-directional elements deliver range and reception in less than ideal locations. The ClearStream 4V comes with mounting hardware and a 20in. mount with a pivoting foot to allow installation on vertical or horizontal surfaces.

This is a very easy antenna to put together and very easy to install!! I just bought 2, one for my house and one for my dads. I put them both on the roof. They work fantastic! I have installed many of these and every time they come out with a crystal clear picture!

installation instructions for clearstream 4v antenna

I have cable and internet from same company. What do I need to do to drop cable company and install you antenna instead? Have 4 tvs, all flatscreen. What equipment do I need to buy and can I install it myself ( I assume instructions would be a part of antenna purchase, but maybe not, Please help!
You need the antenna and a splitter. You probably only need to mount this outside and hook into the cable that feeds your house. If you have cable the needed splitter should already be in place.

Rotor needed?

It's been a while since we purchased an antenna … they used to require rotors inside to turn the antenna. I see some are multi-directional, which obviously do NOT need rotors, but what about this style? Does it stay fixed in one spot or need a rotor to turn it?
It's a fixed mount. There are websites that can tell you the best direction to aim your antenna.

what do they mean by select tv's

You have to have a tv that has a digital tuner. Old tube tv's don't not have this. Flat panels have this, older tv's need the box to decipher the digital signal. The government was giving out coupons years ago for these. You should be fine if you have a flat screen.

How many TVs can be hooked up to 1 antenna

do I need extra boosters or anyother parts to connect other TVs
A splitter should work fine, but if you have any tiling you may need to add an amplifier. However, be cautious about adding an amp, if you have any interference it will also amp the bad signal with the good.

I cannot mount an antenna and hook up the system myself. Are there companies that do this?

Somebody might, but you'd just have to find someone like me that does it on the side probably.

antenna being grounded outside

does this antenna need to be grounded from lighten if installed outside.
I work for a cable company and have a low voltage license. It would be a best practice to ground this, but no you don't have to.
