What a cast and under Cronenberg's direction. Some love Woody Allen, Cronenberg is my equivalent. I always enjoy seeing him get such talent and then what he does with it. He pushes them to performances you don't see normally.

This really showcased more diverse performance by Amy Adams, who tends to be "Amy Adams" in her roles. It also showcases Tim Burton's talent outside of his popular "his world" movies, sharing a true story with restraint and the right touches of his unique creativity. Krysten Ridder was great, just wanted to see her more, but not her movie. Tim - you need to build a movie around Krysten!

Just not my cup of tea, maybe. I guess I expected more fun story, not NON-STOP singing. I mean, anyone opens their mouths, it's another song and they aren't good ones either. It wore me out.
