But these black Sony are the ones I'm always reaching for. bypassing the Bose, Beats, JBL, Skull Candy XT-free, I will spend time looking for these. for good reason. I have a iPhone 6 and EQ on R&B or ROCK, with the "sound check off" specifically because these will cancel out ANY outside noise, you have to be careful at times. I didn't hear a fire engine pass right by me. The BASS will be felt not just heard, (4Hz-24Hz) the HIGHS can pierce your ear drums. These can be EXTREMELY loud if EQ isn't correctly set for the need. I have to make sure all the settings are right, before inserting them and turning them up. These are awesome if you wanna be in your own music world and ignore the mayhem around you! Ive heard parts of songs i'd never heard before, it took me a while to find the right ear mold size. It comes with 3 or 4, you need one that securely holds the earbuds in place. Not too deep, not too loose.These should cost $200-$250.00! I don't know how SONY can afford to do it. Get them, you can return them if Im lying.

Does this work for HTC One M8?
it depends on what you mean by work? Will they play music yes, but HTC has a very "unique" OS. meaning pressing buttons with their devices usually causes a different response than say an iPhone or android phone. Best guess is to actually try it buddy, if for some reason it doesn't you can get your money back on the spot. but the Bose headphones are a good choice for quality for sure but check out Sony MDRXB50AP/B. I use them over my beats, skull candy, bose and klipsch....the Sony you get more for less money really, really good earbuds and much louder than the BOSE earbuds.

compatibility of sony mdr xb 50ap with nokia windows phones??
I want to buy it for nokia windows smart phones. Is this earphone working with those smart phone?? Did anyone checked it?? . does the mic & music control work with that phone??
I had a nokia lumia icon and the button will do certain things depending on what you're doing. It'll pause music if you are listening to it, press it again to restart it. hold it down and depending on the OS you have on your phone hold it down and it will activate voice assistant like Cortana. It is really convenient. just keep in mind when you do get a response it can be very loud. be careful on your settings. You can ask The Nokia's voice assistant Cortana to pretty much do anything, play music, turn it up, turn it down, call somebody...they developed the earbuds with that in mind which is why it only needs one button and volume controls. I have an iPhone now my nokia kept overheating and restarting. I would really reconsider that choice first, just not good phones...and Im a windows guy. they just are lagging behind android and apple so much. Check out a 16gb iPhone first, it'll be cheaper than the windows phone as well. I paid $750 for my ICON that now sits in a box

Android Compatible ?
Does anyone know if it'll work with a Moto X? The button feature.
yes, but depending on what you are doing at the time will depend on what the (single) inline button will do. Press it once to pause or play music after being paused. Hold it down and it'll activate voice control probably google's voice assistant whoever that it. dunno much about that exact function but yes you'll definitely get a response from the button

do these work with Apple Phones !?!
I have a I phone 5s, and wanted to know if these were compatible .....
yes, they sure do but depending on what you are doing will determine what happens when you press the button on the cord. You press it once and it'll pause ur music, hold it down and talk to siri, press the button again to restart music again, it can be really helpful. Or heck, just tell Siri to start your music by holding the button down....yes they will work with ur phone hunn
