Not Designed Properly

Working in the design industry, one of the first goals I keep in mind is the function of the design. Does it actually accomplish its principal purpose for existing? It would be anyone's guess that a phone case should PROTECT the phone. I've had my phone for about two hours and dropped it while pulling it out of my pocket. To my chagrin, I saw that the bottom of my phone had been scratched after picking it up. The case does not actually protect the bottom corners or portion of the phone, like it does the top. The phone protrudes slightly, so if it falls, it your phone will NOT be protected by the case. It looks great, but it fails in actually being a phone case and PROTECTING your phone. What a failure in the design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
