Just doesn't work

Right out of the box this didn't work. It cycles through an error status and never charges my Galaxy S6 Edge+. TYLT customer service has been non responsive so far (one week). I should have read reviews on other locations first. It does make a great phone heater if that's what you're looking for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
