This film falls into the horror category with the subject matter alone; however, it turns out it wasn't totally horror, more horror/drama. Not tons of blood, and when I went looking around the net I found out it was originally a two and half hour film. It's been edited down to under an hour and a half, and decently so. After finding out it was an Indie film, I'd have to give it 2 thumbs up. The killer comes off like a lunatic, which I liked, and the captive scene was pretty great.
Not the absolute best movie I've ever watched, but it was pretty good. The fact that it was inspired by an actual serial killer in Long Island is a plus, along with the knowledge that there hasn't been an actual movie made about this particular killer before. I'd recommend watching it.
