"When Moonshine" and "Dynamite Collide" is a new must- buy CD from the band: "Jackyl"; If you're a fan of "AC/DC" chances are definitlely at least 85% that you will love this band. "When Moonshine and Dynamite Collide" is the newest effort from this Georgia-based band, and it is unbelievably heavy! To date, it is their best CD yet, you can't go wrong with this purchase!!!
What's great about it: One great heavy rock'n'roll CD!
Dokken has a new "Greatest Hits" Cd out, that's simply fantastic! It includes all of the classics, and all the tracks have been "remixed/remastered" and also new vocals from Don Dokken himself, have been added(He sounds better than ever!!!) There's 2 new tracks included, at the very end of the CD, called: "Almost Over" and "Magic Man." These are both very solid tracks, and show just how great of a band Dokken really is! If you don't know, or haven't discovered this great band, Dokken, you really should check this CD out, you won't be disappointed, they are truly a force to be reckoned with!
What's great about it: It is truly a killer rock'n'roll CD!
What's not so great: Nothing bad at all about the CD
This new Krokus Cd, "Hoodoo" is great! It's been a long time since this band has put out any new music, but the result is definitely worth the wait! This band out of Switzerland sure knows how to rock out! Alot of the songs sound very much like AC/DC, but more like early AC/DC(Bon Scott era). In my opinion, the entire CD is great, especially the song "Rock'N'Roll Handshake" (it really will get your feet tappin!).The entire CD is very 'tongue-in-cheek' (such songs as "Drive it In" and "Shot of Love" surely are examples of this!) My hope is that this track will make it's way into some of the summer blockbuster movies, like the new "Transformers" movie or even the Ryan Reynolds movie 'Green Lantern." I highly recommend this Cd to anyone who likes good old fashioned hard rock and heavy metal!
What's great about it: It's a great hard rock, heavy metal CD!
What's not so great: Nothing bad at all about the CD
The new "Broken Teeth" CD is a must have for hard-rock fans. Whether you're a fan of the former lead singer of "Dangerous Toys" or you're a fan of new/old "AC/DC" this CD is unbelievable! It's got everything a hard-rock fan could want. Crunchy guitar riffs, along with the powerful voice of Jason McMaster, this is one fine effort!
What's great about it: It's got crunchy AC/DC-esque guitar riffs
If you're a Motley Crue fan, this is a must have greatest hits album to have. It's got all the classics, plus some songs off the "Generation Swine" album, and also some tracks off their latest studio album, "Saints of Los Angelos." I highly recommend this album to anyone who's a fan of metal music!
What's great about it: It's got some real great newer songs than their last greatest hits album had
Cinderela is just one of those bands that can do no wrong. Over the years, they've put out albums that are just amazing. This Live album is no different. Whether you're talking about the guitar-driven song "Shake me" or the popular ballad "Don't Know What you Got Till it's Gone" this is one band that's a force to be reckoned with, hopefully for many years to come!
What's great about it: Cinderella really is an amazing live band
If you're lookin' for a cd to buy w/some cool cover tunes, this is the one to get. While there are some really cool "70's-'80's" tunes, as most cover-song albums go, you'll have to put up w/ a few songs you could do without. Such is the case with the Bowie track, "Suffrage City." "Dead Flowers"(by the Rolling Stones) is another one of those songs that falls under the same category of "songs I could do without." Overall, If you're looking for an album to rock out to, and you got $15 in your pocket because it's pay-day, this is the one to get. Also, one track that really rocks is:"What I Like About You"(by the Romantics)!!!
What's great about it: good tunes
What's not so great: could have done w/o the "David Bowie" tune
