This is the best this movie has ever looked. It looks like it has been remastered for blu because it even looks better than the HD-DVD version I picked up after the format died....Worth the upgrade for sure. I paid 13.99 for mine at a local competitor because BB would not price match.
What's great about it: Best it has ever looked
What's not so great: 29.99 price...Its cheaper elsewhere

I love this movie

Being I collected the HM mags in the 80's, I've owned this movie on every format it was released on. I must say the picture quality on this blu ray is the best it has ever looked. Granted it could use some "real" restoration to make it a fabulous release, but guessing if the studios didn't think it would sell a whole lot of copies then it wasn't going to remaster it much..Audio quality rocks. I cranked up my home theater system and the sound track was awesome. A must own for any fan of the movie!!
What's great about it: Picture and audio
What's not so great: Same extras as dvd
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not worth the $10

This movie was just bad..The remake was totally better, The blu ray quality was real poor...Hairs, dust, damaged print 90% of the film fuzzy and out of focus,,,just plain bad, but then MGM has a reputation for poor quality blu releases..If you have the dvd, its not worth the upgrade,,,

What's not so great: everything
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

El Mariachi--picture and audio quality are ok..Nothing great, but better than dvd..
Desperado really looked good on blu...
Wish they would have had a 2 disc set instead of stuffing 2 movies on 1 disc...Quality may have been better..But for the price worth the pick up!

Best of the Remakes

A Christmas carol is one of my favorite Christmas movies. Of all the remakes, this 1951 version with Alastair Sim is the best..The blu ray quality is phenomenal and the Dolby 5.1 is pretty good..Excellent movie. Excellent quality and excellent price..9.99 in the store...If you like this movie this version is worth getting as it also includes a DVD copy..

This movie scared the daylights out of me when I first saw it as a kid..But since have been able to watch it without the creepiness..This movie looks fantastic on bluray..Audio is excellent..You can hear all the creaks from the surround system..Definitely puts your system to use..This bluray is almost demo material....
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Price is a bit high, but worth it.,

4 inch square-Grab a memory card or a thumb drive

I bought this and experienced the same 4 inch box others are complaining about-Its not a firmware issue. Its a profile issue..The ps3 and newer blu ray players have internal memory and will not be susceptible to this. However, I have the S350 with the thumb drive slot in the back-After researching a little on the net I found if you put a memory card or thumb drive in the slot ( which ever slot you have ) the movie plays fine...( I guess the new BD profiles need memory to run a disc because of the fancy menus).I put a 2 gig thumb drive in mine and it played with no problem, which leads me to dislike bd live even more--Also the box should state somewhere that its not compatible with the 2.0 profile...Seems like Sony sooner or later will be profiling everyone and we wont be able to watch a movie unless we are connected to the internet..Anyway, as far as the movie..It's alot like the first..Spin off action flick from the first..Nothing real impressive, but most sequels usually aren't, however the audio and picture quality are top notch!! Be aware there is tons of nudity--So much to the extent some scenes are pixel-ed out..
What's great about it: Price=Picture and Audio quality
What's not so great: Need a memory card to view on Blu ray player

I myself, like the previous poster, bought this on a blind buy. Glad I didn't pay more than 6.99..I liked the Scary Movies..They were dumb, but somewhat funny. This was just plain dumb..No laughs at all..PQ and AQ are alright but if you are expecting big laughs find something else cause this isn't it!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a deal

I owned this on DVD..When I saw the blu for 6.99 it was a no brainer..AQ and PQ were pretty good. Nothing eye popping but this was a "dark" movie anyway setup mostly in a dreary basement. Hard to believe it was based on a true story...If you are a fan of Ketchums for 6.99 this is a steal on blu!
What's great about it: Cheap
What's not so great: Nothing yet

I have a Sony Blu-Ray Player S360 and a 40" Sony Bravia and Sony Sound System. I have watched quite a few Blu-Ray Movies and really like it. This movie all I get is a 4" square in the middle of my TV. The movie will play and sounds incredible but that is all I see. I was happy to read the other reviews and see others are experiencing problems and cannot view the movie either. I will be returning it soon. I thought that the updates from Sony would help but the Reviews say no. I guess all we can do now is wait for the movie to go on sale in Standard DVD so we can watch it on our Blu-Ray Player. I will be contacting Sony too.

Movie had no plot...No character build up. And a very bad 80ish intro...Every aspect of this film is tacked on, there is a total of 90 seconds of action sequences. And I don't know how on Earth anyone could care the smallest amount about any of the characters. I honestly thought that Ryan Gosseling's character was mentally challenged, that is how he is portrayed. Anyone with creative input on this feature should be blacklisted from ever subjecting an audience to their garbage again! I personally did not like anything about this film. Although the movie looks great from a visual standpoint on blu-ray, it isn't worth the 2 hours you'll lose watching it..

I did read the reviews..Everybody ranted how "Great" this movie was. That's why I purchased it. Even the back of the box say's "Stunt driver by day..(They showed 1 scene flipping a car..ohhh.) Wheelman for criminals by night...(The opening scene) Even reading the box would have me believe its an action movie.But everyone has an opinion and my opinio is this..,,It's still in the top 5 of worst ever!

Will Best Buy price match in store with the website on movies?
I have found many Blu-Ray prices to be cheaper at BestBuy.com than in the Store itself. Obviously I would like the better deal. I know in the past I have gotten the online price when purchasing more expensive items. Will Best Buy price match from their own website if I go to the store to buy movies?
Yes they will..I have them price match mine all the time whether it be bb.com or any local merchant.

The movie is called "Sacred Ground". With what I have been able to find, this movie was never released on DVD only VHS.
