Excellent and a Great deal

These speakers are great. I saw that they were on sale and I’m not a person that passes up a good deal. They are loud crisp and clear. The Bass is pretty good to for speakers that do not have a subwoofer. I suppose people prefer the black ones but the wood paneling is beautiful. I was looking at the reviews for the same speaker but black and color. I wish people would not star down a product just because they didn’t read about the components of the speaker. This speaker does not have a headphone jack. If the details of the speakers don’t mention a headphone jack that means its non-existent. It has an Audio output cord and uses USB to power up.
This is worth the buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely Lame

This is a bad cheap case although it’s not a good case. I was never able to close the case. It has no magnets to close the case or strap. It fits my Ipad Mini one just fine. The case started pealing within a couple weeks on the back flip. Spend a few extra dollars to get yourself another cheap but better case for your Mini.
I had this product for 4 months and I wanted a refund. Best buy gave me a ten-dollar gift card even though the time frame to return items is 7-15 days after the purchase, I believe.
They did that because Nanette Lepore (the retailer) would not honor their one-year warranty. Sure Nanette Lepore said they would look into it and send me an email but that was a week ago. I know they never intended to get back with me. When I called them they said, they didn’t know who the retailer was and Best buy said they were the retailer. Apparently they don’t sail this case on there website anymore. I think if the company didn’t have it in stock anymore they should still be responsible since their products they distribute says “One year warranty.”

Great

This is one of the best portable speakers out there for its price. This thing makes a loud sound. Up to 33 feet or more. Its clear and the bass is just right. If you buy to of these and connect a splitter to it, they can be desktop speakers. One will do awesome for desktop speaker to. This is coming from a person who likes their music very loud.
I had to get it replaced because the battery stopped charging but that was my fault. The HMDX company honors there one year warranty and sent me a new one for free.

Good Enough

I bought two and I gave one to my mom. She really enjoyed it. It doesn't give you a full charge for your devices but enough to get it running a decent time.

Its Lovely

This speaker is very beautiful. I love looking at and I can’t stop holding it. It has an auxiliary input jack (you need an auxiliary cord) and a microphone where you can receive calls. Its very easy to use once you read the directions. It seems very durable. I had this portable speaker for a week now and it gives out good sound.

2 out of 5Nice sounding speakers, but limited by design

I bought these desk top speakers for $10 on sale. The sound is really good for compact desktop speakers. The issue I have is that they only work with a powered USB port. My computer has three USB ports -- two powered and one unpowered. Unfortunately I have three items I need to power -- my keyboard, mouse and speakers. That leaves the speakers as the odd man out, so they don't get much use. I tried plugging in the USB cable into a wall adapter, but the power was to much for the speakers, and I get a loud regular electronic pulse sound. I'm hanging on the speakers in case my next laptop has three powered USB ports, or my IT dept. can fix/change the unpowered USB I have now. If you computer has three or more USB ports, you can check to see if your cabled mouse works in all three -- if it does these speakers will probably work for you. If not, they might not be useful. Also, USB splitters, even powered ones won't work.

Extension Cords

You might want to try an extension cord. Your wall outlet may be faulty but extension cords help with that. This is what I am doing.
