You Need a Spare 4-Pin Power Cable!!!!!!!!!!
on August 1, 2015

I don't know if it works. No where on the web page does it say it needs a 4-pin 5-volt external power supply connector. My Dell XPS 8500 doesn't have any spare power connectors, I am using them all for hard drives. Only one reviewer commented on this.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Will this work in a Dell xps 8300

I want to get an external WD hard drive from BBuy but want the faster transfer speeds of the 3.0 usb. So, am looking at options to do this. I don't know much about poking around inside a computer so it will have to be simple. . . as in SIMPLE. Thanks.
Only if you have a spare 5 volt power lead and the proper connector in the XPS 8300.

Where is the driver CD? The package said it is included in the box.

I just bought/picked up an Insignia™ - 2-Port USB 3.0 PCI Express Interface Card - Silver
Model: NS-PCCUP53 SKU: 5621006. The box said included in the box:
Quick Setup guide-Ok found
Driver CD-This item is missing in the box.
Short backplate-Ok found
Either it wasn't included or someone took it.
