Nice Refrigerator - customer service problem

This refrigerator was delivered at noon on a Thursday. Before the delivery people left I asked what the beeping/chiming noise was. He had never heard it before but guessed it might be because the fridge was warm. I looked in the manual many times but could find anything about the chiming except for a door alarm. I looked up online and found it is a problem and called the local Boise store on Franklin. I was pretty much put off, asked if I'd purchased geek squad insurance and told to call them. The person at geek squad had me do a few things and then said a technician would need to come out. The first scheduled appointment available was in 7 days - NOT ACCEPTABLE. There are 3 chimes that can be heard all over the house that go off every 30 seconds. I called the local store again and they could not do anything or have any influence over the appointment because Best Buy uses contractors although they are working to bring repair people onto BEst Buy rolls. I told them to bring back my old refrigerator (which was on its last legs) - the soonest they could get a replacement refrigerator was in a month. I ordered another one - same - from Home Depot who could deliver in 2 weeks. Friday morning I called the Geek Squad again and talked with a terrific agent - RIck who worked very hard and communicated with me about progress - he was able to get an appointment for later that same day!!!! Kudos to him. The repairmen came about 5:30 p.m. - worked about an hour but finally were able to determine that a connection in the panel on top of the refrigerator was loose. In the meantime, the fridge was not cooling down like it should have over 24 hours and the water dispenser stopped working. They determined that it was a faulty water filter which I had to go to the store in BOise to pick up - they did not have one and sent me to their Nampa, ID store that had only 1 in stock thank goodness. Water filter works very well. The fridge/freezer also cooled down to appropriate levels within 2 hours so apparently that was also connected to the loose wire. I really like the refrigerator - not the local store for customer service. The Geek Squad was excellent once I got the right person who cared enough to help me out. I don't think I'll go back to Best Buy again, although I will buy LG products again.
