I received a Panasonic LUMIX G7 camera. All opinions are my own. I've been using a traditional DSLR for the last couple of years now. The Lumix G7 technology is entirely new to me, and at first I was a little bit intimidated by all of the options and having to learn new technology. After a few weeks with this camera, I still feel like I am just scraping the surface of what it can do!
I reach for this camera when I want to take action shots of the kids. The 4K mode allows you to take several seconds (or up to 30 minutes) of video. You can break the video down into about 30 frames per second, and pull any of those images from the video without losing any quality. So, I can get a little video of my child jumping and then look at every frame and pick the ones that catch that exact moment I was looking for - which makes for some seriously amazing photos!
Also super handy is the Panasonic app that allows you to connect your device to the camera and download the photos of your choice directly to your phone. This makes it super easy to share your pictures online, because you don't need to go through the whole process of downloading them all on to you computer before you can share them (although I have done that, too, for editing purposes).
This camera is exciting - it takes my photography to another level and really lets me capture movement in a new way.
I would recommend this to a friend!
