Control knobs are too hot to the touch

Rear burners are TOO close to control knobs, when the rear burners are on the control knobs are very hot to the touch.
We contacted Samsung customer support about this issue and they were very patronizing and rude.
They sent a Samsung service man to check the heat of the knobs and they claim that if the heat is within Samsung design tolerances then there is nothing wrong with the range regardless if the knobs are too hot to the touch, but they will not tell you what are the design tolerances...
If you decide to buy this electric range be careful touching the control knobs when the rear burners are on.
We will never buy another Samsung product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

dangerous range

Rear burners on unit are TOO close to control knobs, this will cause you to burn your hand or fingers when the range is in use.
We contacted Samsung customer support about this issue and they were very patronizing and rude!
They claim that if the heat on the control knobs is within Samsung design tolerances then they will not replace the range regardless if you burn your hand ( they will not tell you what are the design tolerances..)
If you ask for a another service call to re-inspect the heat on the range knobs and the heat is within Samsung design tolerance then they will charge the customer for the service call.
We only had this range for about 3 weeks..
If you decide to buy this range then be careful not to burn your hand.
We will never buy another Samsung product again.
