Just upgraded from the sound link mini to the sound link mini 2. Same great sound, added feature of speakerphone is nice. Works with original accessories. Battery life is unbelievable. It charges quickly and plays on and on and on and on...

Bose speaker randomly turning off

I don't understand why my Bose speaker continues to randomly turn off even with a full battery charge, there's nothing obscuring the connection from the Bluetooth device (my phone) to the speaker itself. And the software has been updated.

Contact bose. They helped with an issue I was having.

Does using an aux cable increase battery life?

I love my Soundlink mini! I had it for about a month now and use it on the golf course to play Pandora off my IPhone. I get about 3:45 hours/minutes of battery life at full volume. Do I have a bad battery? If not would using an Aux cord to connect my phone to the Soundlink help with battery life? I need 30 more minutes maybe 50 minutes if the group in front of us plays really slow. I realize if I turn the volume down that will help with battery life but that take some of the fun out of it.

I was getting about the same time from my soundlink mini. I bought the soundlink mini 2 and it plays 10 hrs, no bs. A aux cord will help somewhat.

Can you trade in for the new Bose soundlink mini 2

Only if you purchased the 2 year insurance when you bought it. If so, just re box the speaker and take paperwork to store and tell them you would like to redeem the insurance because of a performance issue.
