This sprawling two-part box set features a pair of the most acclaimed nature miniseries ever produced, each one a co-production of the BBC and The Discovery Channel. First on the bill is the legendary Planet Earth, narrated by Sir David Attenborough - an epic-length tour of the biodiversity of our planet, and a look at the various species that populate it. Next up is the 10-part program Life, a microcosmic voyage featuring 130 stories of life that exists beyond the scope of the human eye, and at the frontiers of the natural world, 54 of which have never before been cinematically told or seen.
Natural history and the wildlife of the planet are presented in a beautifully done series. The quality of the photography is phenomenal. One thing BBC does that is without peer. I just wish Attenborough would speak up a bit.
This superhero drama follows Central City forensic scientist Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), who is given the power to move at lightning-quick speeds after a freak accident at a particle accelerator facility. As a man who has always had a propensity for helping others and doing good deeds, Allen uses his newfound gifts to fight crime and evildoers.
Keeps me watching. Good writing. Interesting supporting characters. Special effects are well done and, more notably, not overdone. I look forward to season two!
This extensive release from the landmark sitcom Seinfeld includes all 180 episodes of the show, following Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer through hilarious daily misanthropic adventures in selfishness and immaturity.
What a great show! I've been binge watching this collection for a several weeks and still laugh. If you didn't catch Seinfeld when it aired or in syndication, this is the best way to watch it.
This release collects every episode from season four of the series Grimm about a man descended from a long line of "Grimms," those responsible to help balance humanity from the creatures of myth and monsters of the ancient society by using his newfound powers to sense evil lurking in the human world.
This action-packed triple feature contains Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny Glover in Predator 2, and the 2010 reboot Predators starring Adrien Brody.
Your buying this for Predator, of course. Still a good film after all of these years. Predator II is a pale imitation but has its moments. Predators is, well, it's included in the set.
If you like CGI you'll love this. Absurd story line with even more absurd scenarios. The producers should have hired a high school science teacher to consult on the 'science' of the film. It would have helped.
Well done period piece. CGI scenes are, well, CGI scenes but they serve their purpose. Story line focuses on the alleged metallurgical deficiencies, builders cutting costs, labor strife, et al. Not much about full speed ahead into the night and damned the icebergs but that's not really the venue of this rendition of the Titanic.
