I game on both pc and xbox one, and i was looking for a new headset, one that i can use with my pc AND my xbox with no crazy setup or modifications. The first headset i picked up was the logitech g633, which as much as i liked, was certainly lacking in In mainly the overall design such as the mic boom being too short and the overall size being enormous. Not to mention they weren't wireless unless you paid $200 for the wireless g933 version. So i picked up these for a reasonable price around $100, and didn't really know what to expect. Right out of the box, they work and do exactly what i wanted them to do. Pc setup is simple and painless, and in no time i had them working. Through the software , available on turtle beaches website you are able to configure the surround settings. I usually just leave them set to stereo which works well for most games. The headset itself has built in sound profiles for bass, treble, vocal, etc which is something i like seeing as even the logitech pair didn't have this. As gor xbox one, it was easier than expected. Using the INCLUDED 3.5mm cable, it was as simple as plugging the one end in the headset, and the other in the controller (i use the 2nd gen controller with the 3.5mm port built in, the adapter should do the same though.) amazingly enough, i was able to get sound in, and voice out! So, if you like to switch between console and pc, and not be bothered by having 2 seperate headsets, pick up a set of these. For the price i paid, they certainly perform as any other mid range pair of head phones should, the ease of use and the adaptability make them my go-to headset for the time being.
