Sophisticated, useful, and comfortable

I don't even know where to begin, or how to make this review cohesive because there's so much I can say about this watch. I'll start off by saying this is my first Apple Watch, and I didn't get one the first time around because I hate the thought of being so connected to my phone that I practically wear it on my wrist. I ended up biting the bullet and purchasing this watch because it offers a lot of capabilities and convenience to my life and job as an ER nurse. Plus, it is comfortable and easy to clean.
The first thing I found out when setting up my Apple Watch is it is very customizable, and I don't have to get notifications from social media; thus, my original issue with not wanting to be super connected everywhere I go was instantly resolved.
Secondly, this watch is gorgeous. I originally wanted the 38 mm rose gold aluminum case + pink sand sports band, but I knew it wouldn't match a lot of my outfit choices. So I opted for the 38 mm gold aluminum case + concrete sports band. I will admit, I was also iffy about ordering the color combination of gray + gold aluminum, but the combination is beautiful and sophisticated. Far exceeded my expectations.
Thirdly, as an ER nurse, this watch offers a lot for me. I have the watch set up to where my screen stays lit for 70 seconds if I tap to wake, so full pulse/respiration checks aren't an issue. It's also convenient to be able to simply glance at my watch for the date and time and write it down without any delay. And the most obvious thing I love about this watch as a nurse is the water resistance. I can wash my hands as often as I want and need to without worrying about compromising the device. The only thing I yearn for is the stopwatch app to stay open while in use, instead of going black after 10 seconds (that is, if I don't tap to wake). Even though I have my Apple Watch set up to where the screen stays lit for 70 seconds when I tap to wake, some medications I push have to be pushed over 2 minutes. This really isn't a huge deal because I can simply let go of the syringe to tap and wake my watch if needed, but it would be more convenient if I didn't have to do that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sleek and attractive sleeve

I bought this in-store at Best Buy and I was surprised to see that Best Buy even carried Kate Spade. The sleeve fits like a glove and it has a memory-foam-like barrier between the pink, soft inner-lining, and the black leather. I chose black since I will be taking this case with me everywhere and I don't want to worry about it getting dirty. The other colors and patterns were also nice looking. At first I was worried that the zipper was going to be a problem. It kept scratching against my MacBook when I would take it in or out, but it was an easy fix. You just have to simply evert the lip of the zipper when taking the MacBook in and out of the sleeve.
I would recommend this to a friend!
