I originally looked at these and like other people,I thought they were kind of bright. I ended up going with Mirage OMD 15's 1st. Sent those back and got Def Tech 8060's. They sounded nice but I didn't like how they look and they had sort of an edgy sound. I broke all these speakers in ,but never cranked them anyhow. Went back to BB and listened to the Logan's again,I wanted to pull them out and place them a little better.Wow! What a difference that made. They had a new pair of open box,I bought those. 1 was defective, took it back and got another demo unit. They look like new. I have no idea how many hours are on them, but they sound incredible. I love when friends come over and go up to the speaker and say, where is the sound coming from. LOL Also, you might have to adjust the rake of the speaker with the screw in feet. Makes a big difference. These speakers just took music to a new level compared to my old Paradigm monitor 7's.
What's great about it: Sound,looks.
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst experience with Corsair keyboard ever...
By MikePlaysIt
Just as the title implies, I've owned multiple Corsair keyboards. I've owned (4) Vengeance K70's, and now this, thing. I have never, EVER experiences double taps (or double registers) this early in the life of any mechanical keyboard. Two of the four K70's that I owned eventually (after about a year of use) started to double tap. One double tapping pretty moderately, but even still no where NEAR as much as this keyboard does and with as many keys showing the issue. The other K70 that eventually started double tapping would occasionally do so, and it was with only one key. This thing, the "Corsair Gaming", or whatever they've rebranded themselves as, K65 RGB "Best Buy Exclusive" started showing double taps just past one month of use. They were not that bad as first, but within the next month they became horrible. To give you an idea about how bad this thing is, it will double tap a majority of the switches, and on average it does it every 50-70 characters. Sometimes much more often. Just writing this review alone I've had to backspace and retype, having to retype the retypes even, almost every single sentence. It's a bit ridiculous. I am baffled as to what the cause may be, but I'm starting to lean toward it being these new RGB switches.
Other than this ridiculously horrible double tap issue, everything else seems to be alright. Well, everything's about the same as a K70, just minus the num pad and a roller volume wheel. The "press up/press down" volume keys on this keyboard are okay, but when you're changing volume moderately it's a bit of a pain having to "tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap" instead of giving it a swipe of the finger.
One other very minor thing I wasn't very pleased with was the fact that in order to take advantage of the RGB feature, and adjust your colors and such it requires you to plug in two separate USB cables. I'm guessing one's a data cable or some such, because there is no USB pass through on this thing like there was on the K70's. But, what you can do iis simply just temporarily plug in both while you're adjusting your colors and such, then when you're done simply unplug one of the USB's and it will hold the setting...
I'm really not fond of the software needed to adjust the colors on the board (in particular how it functions) and the brightness of the LEDs. If you choose any color other than the brightest colors, such as the brightest red, the brightest blue, brightest green, yellow or white the LEDs are not nearly bright enough. So if I want to actually see my keys light up and have them look nice, I get to choose between a few colors. Not a lot of customization. Also, the way the software works it has to CONSTANTLY be running in the background in order to hold some settings, such as intensity/brightness settings. Which is kind of a pain because some of the media keys will show up a LOT brighter than others, so if you want to adjust the intensity you have to have yet another piece of useless software constantly running in the background taking up resources, all to have a fancy keyboard. I'm not sure if the software must be running 24/7 in order to hold reactive lighting settings or flash patterns and such, but I have a feeling it might.
Also I want to mention, as I don't know if anybody else has noticed this themselves also, or if it's just my imagination. But these "Cherry MX Red" RGB switches don't feel like classic Cherry MX Red switches. They are a lot quieter, especially when bottoming out. I believe that has something to do with the body design of the switch acting as a buffer or some such. But that was one of the things I liked about red switches the most. The clack clack when it would bottom out.
So there you have it. Granted, I might have just won the "Garbage Keyboard of the Batch Lottery" and others might not have this problem, but it's really putting me off. This thing apparently carries a decent average rating here on Best Buy's website (though people who write reviews on BestBuy.com usually tend to be more "casual users", and to casual users, some problems may not show up, or they may never notice them.
Good luck!

I had the K65 RGB from BB on 2 separate occasions. I just couldn't get over the feel of the red switches. Plus the spacebar felt super cheap. I picked up the Razer Chroma because they just came out with and open SDK like Corsair and it is 100x more simple to use. Plus I love Razers keys. They feel like blue switches. Take the K65 back get the Chroma and try it out. I hate that the Razer has volume keys that use fun to enable them, but you can make them so you don't have to use the fun key. I don't need the fun key anymore.

great keyboard!
By samdbugman
Thanks to Bestbuys fantastic return policy, I was able to try the Razer Chroma keyboard. The razer keys just didn't have the same feel as the cherry brown switches that are in the K70 RGB. The lighting on the Chroma is much brighter than the Corsair keyboard, but the K70 CUE software allows for COMPLETE control of the lighting effects, while the Razer Chroma has just a few templates, with very little customizing ability.
I have to say that the Corsair K70 RGB not only met, but exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend this keyboard to anyone wanting a high quality piece of equipment that should last for several years.

Not true about the Razer Chroma having a few templates. They have an open SDK now. You can do pretty much anything you want and its 100x easier than Corsairs,I know,I had one. The blue switches on the Chroma are very satisfying also.

Bad Martin Logan, Excellent Best Buy!
By MAVA
Buy these speakers at Best Buy last November 20. The first couple I arrived with large white patches on the woofers. I returned and buying a second pair, who also had the same defect.
After 2 days of trying to talk to someone in Logan Martin I could talk to a technical support and gave me 2 options: woofers clean with alcohol or they did get me the rubbers with the instructions to change. I also explained that were not fungi but a chemical that was staining the speakers. What happened to the quality control of Martin Logan? Clean with alcohol about $ 3,000.00 speakers?
I was not satisfied with the answers of Logan Martin and I lost the confidence in your brand. I ended up buying a Bowers & Wilkins CM9 S2 with which I am very happy. Boxes and packaging for B & W came perfectly sealed and well protected the speakers. The sound quality is spectacular!
Finally, the overall winner is BEST BUY who always supported me and I was aware of my situation during the almost 30 days of the whole process. ! It has good support BEST BUY. But above all that people so nice and clear. Congrats to the whole team of Magnolia in Brandon. Thank you very much for your effort not to discourage me.

I've dealt with Martin Logan recently and they were awesome!
#1 Why didn't you just return them for new ones from Best buy?
#2 Martin Logan was trying to help you, sounds like it was too much work and you gave up.
#3 Stuff happens, Martin Logan is a stand up company in every way. Nothing is perfect and they did try to help.
So what did you expect ? All you did was jump ship at the 1st sign of trouble, they gave you solutions and you just thumbed your nose at them. Wait.. Now you went with B&W and didn't even swap out for new Martin Logans.. Best buy would have absolutely done that. Sorry, but your review is BS..
