This GE 45856GE in-wall smart switch easily replaces your old light switch and integrates seamlessly with 2-way and 3-way systems. The over-the-air feature automatically keeps the switch's software up-to-date.

Good But could be better

Installation was fairly straight forward except that you need to purchase a second GE switch for 3 and 4 way installs and this will not work with any old 3 way. They should tell you that on the product page. Also you should be aware this thing is 1.5 inches deep and i needed to get a larger gang box for the switch to fit in it. also sometimes there is a tiny bit of lag between hitting the switch and the lights responding. It is not annoying to me but it is not instant like a regular switch. Some might find this a little annoying. I installed this to pair to Time Warner Cable's Intelligent Home system that uses zigbee. Pairing it was very easy and the touchscreen picked it up almost instantly with no issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have cat5 run from my house to my barn approx 350ft and I need camera set up help since the old system is no loner working

I am trying to get a newer camera system set up but no one can help, I have cat5 run all of the way to my barn but the old camera system had a booster box that no longer works I just need to know how to hook up the cat5 to my laptop to get video surveillance in my barn when needed
Cat5e will only work up to 300 foot. Your only real choice is to use a microwave Point to point or a fiber optic line usually both of these are cost prohibitive.

Can just one unit service a 6 story private house?

It really depends on the number of devices and how many repeater devices you are using. You really would need to have a survey done to answer this question correctly. That being said. Is it theoretically possible; yes. However if you need to go through several repeaters then you may have a noticeable lag between when you tell it to do something and that action taking place. Basically the closer the sensor/device is to the controller the faster it will work.
