Best mouse for daily use. Smells good.

At first I bought a Logitech gaming style mouse but found it too small for my hand. I wanted the Logitech free spin scroll wheel and am a fan of the brand. I always loved the looks of the MX Master, but didn't think I wanted wireless (I hate having to charge things).
I got the MX Master and I love it. Fits my hand much better. No noticeable lag from being wireless (using USB dongle).
I was very worried about the small back/forward buttons that are stacked behind the side scroll wheel. Turned out to not be a problem. They're not any further back than a normal back button would be, and it's perfectly easy to tell them apart. Not to mention, if you really don't like it, you can program many other things to act as your back button, like the side scroll wheel, the button under your thumb in the gesture pad, etc.
The scroll wheel feels better than the one on the gaming mouse, and it feels more solid thanks to the wheel not having the left and right tilt function, since we have the side scroll wheel on the MX master.
It's nice that the mouse can pair to multiple devices. Within the first evening I had it paired to my Android phone as well as my PC.
All of the buttons and clicks are satisfying.
I haven't even charged the battery since opening it. It came about 2/3 charged and it's been 5 days so far. From what I hear, it charges really fast. Now I'm glad to have a wireless mouse.
Can't really think of any negatives. Maybe a slighter higher DPI capability would have been nice.
BONUS: The mouse has a really good, interesting smell lol.

Document your road trip with this Uniden dash cam. It has 8GB of microSD storage, so it can record as much or as little of your drive as you want, and the 140-degree angle ensures a wider perspective. This Uniden dash cam has a G-sensor for collision detection and an unobtrusive 1.5-inch display.

Suitable for basic coverage. Some file errors.

For context, I purchased this when it was discounted for Black Friday. My review score would be lower if I had paid full price. I would not recommend this at full price.
I've wanted a dash cam for a long time but didn't feel like investing a ton. When I saw this discounted for holiday sales I saw my chance to try one out without much investment.
The quality isn't great. Even on a large screen, you can't pause a video and reliably read a license plate of a car that was to the left or right of you. You can read a plate of a car directly in front of you at a stop light and that's about it. So you can only depend on this camera for a basic overview of a road situation. You aren't going to be referring to the video file you when you get home and getting the license plate off of a car that was any distance away, or not perfectly in front of the camera.
I have yet to try it at night, but judging by how weak the infrared LEDs look when I turn them on, I'm not expecting much. Again, it will be enough to have a record of a major incident on the road, but you won't be picking small details out of your video file.
In the couple of times I have used it, I have already had lost/damaged files for no clear reason. The very first day I used it, I wasn't but a few minutes into a drive before I caught someone making a dangerous move on the road. I was already happy with my purchase because I was looking forward to getting home and having it on video. The first 10 minute file of my trip was inexplicably missing from the SD card. I triple checked that the blue LED was flashing while I was in the car, meaning that it was recording. The camera was definitely filming because I clicked on the next file that started in the middle of my trip. But the first one was just gone.
I just came home from using the camera today. I had 4 files on my SD card, meaning my recording time was between 30 and 40 minutes. The first couple of files worked fine. I clicked on file 3 and it doesn't play. I removed the SD card from the camera and put it directly into my computer and still can't get it to play. 8 minutes of footage is lost and if I had been in an accident at that moment I would apparently not have any proof.
I have tried more than one SD card. The first time I had a missing file, that was with the SD card that came included with the camera. I had since switched to a larger 32GB card, still Class 10 and suitable for use in this camera. And that 32GB card is where I got this second file that won't play. So it's not just that I have one bad SD card. I have all the settings adjusted correctly and it's not that I'm mistakenly overwriting the files or anything like that.
Overall I am somewhat satisfied with this as an introduction to what it's like to use a dash cam. It's pretty disappointing that it seems like it will be a matter of luck which files save successfully and which ones will get lost. I am going to set the file size to 3 minutes instead, to see if maybe recording in the maximum 10 minute chunks is somehow just too much data for the camera to manage when it has to start a new file and save the last one.
If anything, this has confirmed for me that I do enjoy having the camera for safety and will maybe get a better one. If this one would stop dropping files, I'd be relatively happy with it. But losing footage is not acceptable when the entire point of this thing is to have proof of an incident when you need it.
If you can afford a better one, get it. You'll regret having an inexpensive camera like this when it really counts and you're trying to retrieve footage of something that happened on the road. You'll be lucky if the file is saved, and if it is you still might not be able to read plate numbers.

You can Platinum this game in two days. You can barely "change the story". The same stuff will always happen, you can only change minor things. Can't skip cutscenes in 2015 so you'll want to gouge your eyes out by the time you are playing through the game for the third time trying to unlock things. Not worth a full price purchase. Makes a great weekend rental.

An impressive underdog

I've given a lot of thought to how I want to review this TV. Every day while I've used it I've tried to weigh out the pros and cons and come to a verdict.
If this is the most you'd like to spend on a TV, yes, get this, and you will be happy with it. There's nothing you'll regret about what you get for your money. If you can spend more, sure, you're probably better off going with a more recognizable name brand. BUT it's surprising how much higher you have to go up in price before you'll find another decent, medium sized 1080p TV. As the price climbs, you'll see larger TVs, more recognizable brands, but most of them still only 720p. Only if you are absolutely picky about your picture quality should you spend almost twice as much to be able to get a 1080p TV from a name brand. Otherwise, save your money and go home with this solid 4/5 product. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who approached me and said they were looking for a decent 1080p TV on a budget. The only thing that remains to be seen about an off brand TV like this is how long it will last. I've previously used other lesser brand TVs that I did not purchase myself, and after a number of years, they all burned out or developed problems. If this one lasts for a number of years, I will be thrilled. It doesn't seem to get super hot on the back like other TV's I've owned, which is hopefully a good sign for how long it will survive.
I wouldn't normally purchase a brand like this, but I needed a new TV and I had store credit and gift cards to practically pay for the entire thing. There were not many choices for 1080p in this size and the few that exist lacked other things, like only having 1 HDMI input (this has 2). Overall I am happy. Sometimes I see a little muddiness or graininess to the picture. Let's be honest, this isn't the greatest 1080p panel you'll ever get your hands on. But it could also have to do with the quality of the input. My 1080i HD cable box looks decent most of the time; sometimes the picture isn't great. My PS4 looks pretty good, but again I notice a little noise in the picture compared to the 1080p monitor I had been using. One day I hooked this TV up to my PC and watched a really high quality YouTube video of some wildlife and it looked amazing, it seemed like the graininess was totally gone. So it seems like it's just really sensitive to the quality of the input. I just turned my head towards the TV and the commercial playing right now looks so clear. That's how it has been since I purchased this, sometimes I look at it and I'm disappointed by the picture quality, other times it looks amazing. Of course I do wish that it looked amazing every time I look at it, but I'm being realistic about how affordable this TV was. Can't expect the best picture quality in the world.
Pros:
-Price
-So lightweight and compact (carried box out of store with 1 finger)
-Good size for a bedroom or small viewing area
-A rare 1080p TV in this size and price range
-Plenty of brightness for a bright room, not hard to see at all
-Fairly impressed with the contrast and black levels, better than my monitor
-2 HDMI inputs (most other TVs in this price range only have 1)
-A satisfying amount of options in the menus for audio/video settings
-Picture quality will impress all but the most critical viewers
-Small detail, but I like the design with the two feet on the bottom of the TV, looks more modern than one big stand in the center
-Decent remote, doesn't feel cheap
-No dead pixels
-Speakers sound good after a quick adjustment in the settings
Cons:
-There's a slight graininess to the picture that never quite goes away. I've adjusted the settings as best I can. It is most noticeable when I am only about 2 feet from the screen because I have it on an L-shaped desk, my computer in front of me and the TV sitting just to my left. But when I actually sit down across the room to watch TV, more like 5-7 feet away, it looks crystal clear, as good as our expensive TV downstairs. Most people probably won't view this from 2 feet away. It looks good from a normal viewing distance.
-The speakers are a bit weak. On a day when it's not exactly quiet in here, I have to turn the TV up to about 80% to be able to hear it. And the strange thing is it seems like you don't get a lot of volume adjustment across the entire range. I'm either sitting here with the volume at 15 when it's quiet, or when it gets slightly noisier in here during the day, I have to crank it up to 80. You hold the volume button down and see it count all the way up through 30, 40, 50, 60, and it just doesn't seem to be getting much louder. Yet still, I've never quite needed to turn it up to maximum, and this is enough volume for a small room. If you plan to use it elsewhere, you might want to connect some better speakers. The sound quality sounded a little bit tinny at first, but a quick adjustment to the audio settings and now I'm not at all displeased with the sound that comes out of this.
-Buttons on the side of the TV are a really weird design. They're just kind of cut into the case of the TV, instead of nice tactile buttons, and you'll have a hard time making any adjustments just by feel. You'll end up pressing a bunch of them trying to figure out which button is which. But really, there's not much reason to use them, a remote is included and much easier to use.
-Putting a USB stick in to view pictures looks absolutely terrible. Had some great pictures on my LG G4 and was just curious to see how they would display on this TV since it has the USB option, so I loaded them onto a flash drive. They looked terrible. I don't know if there's some sort of image processing being done poorly within the TV, but this is not the screen that you'll want to use to view your pictures or show them to other people.
I have my review set at 4 stars right now, and I'm almost tempted to click that 5th star because it does so much right at such a fair price. But that would feel like I'm saying this TV couldn't possibly be better, and it could. 1080p should always look really good, I'm paying for HD cable service, and I just can't say that the picture quality is great at all times. Prior to this, though, I had gone back to temporarily using a tube TV that was 2 feet thick and took up my entire desk, and it sure is nice to have something like this again.
If this is what you can afford, don't be afraid of this brand or feel like you're getting something of totally low quality. It's really quite good. If you can afford to pay twice as much for a better brand for slightly better quality, go for it.

Lightning fast with PS4
on April 9, 2015
Posted by: Yharnamite
I bought this in store last week at a great sale price to use with my PS4. The USB stick I had been using was terribly slow when trying to copy pictures/videos from the PS4, even though that USB stick had decent speeds when used with my PC. Now things that were taking upwards of 5 minutes to transfer are done in a matter of seconds. Also works great in the USB 3.0 ports on my PC. This purchase has really helped me enjoy all the screenshots I take on PS4, because it was so slow trying to transfer them to PC before.

Great headphones, affordable price
on April 6, 2015
Posted by: Yharnamite
I purchased these when a pair of headphones I'd had for a couple of years, different brand but similar price range, suddenly stopped working on one side. I am using these Sony headphones plugged into my PS4 controller while playing games. Right away I noticed a richer sound coming from these headphones compared to the ones I was replacing. They are also extremely comfortable. My previous headphones made my ears hurt after a while. The foam pads on this Sony product are great. The cord feels heavy and high quality. The way the headphones fold and adjust is very nice. I very much like the style of them. I do not think you will find anything that sounds better in this price range. Great purchase.

How long does the 8 GB, 16 GB, or 32 GB SD card allow the video to capture before looping?

The 8GB card that came with it could do about 40 minutes at highest resolution. I put a 32GB card in and can record over 3 hours now.

Does it just record what's in front of you ? Or can it record the back of the car and the inside of your car as well ? Does it have a microphone to hear conversations ?

Only records forward (or whichever way you point it). Yes it can record audio.
