Disappointed Product

Wow - so bummed out on the technical approach Vizio made with this TV. I could not get the full experience of the TV due to the remote process.
PLEASE KNOW - this unit comes with a BASIC snicker size remote that has an up and down volume / channel option, change input, and sync button.
You need to download the Vizio Cast app which has very poor reviews across the board - as I found out. The app has tons of problems properly downloading to smartphones & tablets, so you don't get the full TV function.
After 4 hours of trying, reviewing youtube videos, reading Playstore reviews, and blogs - I packaged up the TV and returned it back to BestBuy.
I think the TV brand is great, but this was a fall off the mountain for Vizio.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Must Have

Got a reduced price for this two year protection plan. With so many recalls on products these days, not having protection is silly.
Made a visit to BestBuy and stopped by the Geek Squad team, they did a great job explaining how the plan I purchased works, brought me up to speed.

I would recommend this to a friend!
