I bought this microwave because it matches the rest of my Samsung appliances. Looks nice and works well but a little bit noisy.

Does the light turn on when you open the door and does the light come on when you are heating your food? Also, does the microwave say done/end when it is finished?

The light comes on both while cooking and when you open the door. However hard to see the food cooking as the glass door is really dark.
