Although Joystick released only this album in 1996 and soon disbanded, the quintet produced some of the speediest and hardest-rocking music to come out of Santa Barbara. Guitarists Nashia and Andrew had awesome interplay, and John's bass work complements their parts well. Devin's drumming is fast and tight for the most part. His style is interesting, to say the least, but his endurance is commendable and some of his parts are truly impressive. Zack sings about issues dear to him, and the unique quality of his voice makes me return for repeated listens. Buy this if you're looking for awesome punk melodies and super aggro drumming.

"Ribbed" was my introduction to NOFX as a teenager and this is one of their best. This has Steve Kidwiller on lead guitar, and he absolutely nails all of his parts. Even Chris Hannah from Propagandhi said he liked this when it came out, and we all know how he feels about Fat Mike now.

This was the first Weezer CD that I bought and I enjoy it. Many so-called fans also say that this album is a "return to form," which is a good thing. Definitely recommend picking this up. Lots of crunchy guitars, cool hooks and well-written melodies.
