It's a basic 1-slot card. Slightly flimsy. Only PCI, not PCI-X or other faster methods.
It has 2Gb internal memory and uses shared memory (from your main memory) as well.
Uses standard Nvidia drivers.

With a Serial ATA interface, this WD Blue WD10EZEXSP internal hard drive easily connects to your PC or Mac. The 1TB capacity offers ample space to house important files, such as pictures, videos and music.

The disk is OK, Western Digital ROTS

The disk is OK... not great, but works fine.
What ROTS is that the "free cloning software" is from 2010 and DOES NOT SUPPORT this drive. Wasted 3 days and finally uninstalled the "WD special edition" and finally was able to clone the old disk drive and then use the new disk drive.

I would recommend this to a friend!

I have windows 7 professional installed.Would I have to re-install my operating system?
If your old disk drive is readable, and if you can clone it (requires special software), then no, you won't. Do not use the Acornis clone program supplied from WD... it doesn't work.
Otherwise you'll need your original Win 7 Pro disks or recovery disks.

How to acquire Acronis True Image
Once the hdd is purchased how does one go about getting the Acronis True Image cloning software? Is this a trial only offer for Acronis software?
The web site is at the top of the installation instructions... it's not the main support site.
HOWEVER I had a lot of trouble with the very outdated "WD special edition" and trying to clone my old disk drive. I wouldn't recommend it!
